Sarah Chow is a Scientist, TV Producer, and Edutainer.

Graduating with her PhD in Physiology from the University of British Columbia and armed with a passion for Science Communication, Sarah dived head first into the world of TV production where she held various positions such as Logger, Researcher, Field Producer, and Story Editor on both Factual and Lifestyle Shows. She has worked on Discovery Canada’s Highway Thru Hell, HGTV’s Save My Reno, W Network’s Game of Homes, and Discovery Canada’s Daily Planet.

However, bringing science to the small screen is only part of her ultimate plan. As an Ambassador for Science World BC, Sarah showcases her science skills and knowledge by performing science demonstrations to live audiences all over British Columbia.

But that’s not all, Sarah breaks the serious scientist stereotype by bringing her science smarts and wits to comedy clubs around the country.

What’s next for Sarah Chow? Well, you can help her out with that. She is open to opportunities where she can continue to learn and improve her skills such as speaking, writing, producing…just to name a few.
